There were some good parts but they couldn’t make up for all the flaws, thus warranting a meager score of 4. The only feeling I got after watching it was disappointment and the impression that the writers really didn’t care most of the time about what they were writing. Was it worth waiting a year and a half? Nope.

With a larger cast of boys and more scenarios, Uta no Prince-sama Debut is going to merge romance and music even tighter together.Notes: There’s a TL DR with pros and cons listed near the bottom if you don’t feel like reading the whole thing. Their senpai idols have quirks that make them unique, they also bring conflicts to the scenes. The boys are to train under experienced idols in pairs. Since the idol industry is full of competitions now, they have to take another step to discover their talents. One day, an invitation to a master course comes from the chairman of their old school. Haruka and the princes have won the graduation competition and are now artists under the Shining Label.
